My wife and I stumbled in here exhausted and just wanting a room. What we found was a great lady (originally from California) behind the desk who took the edge off after a long drive. And then my wife lost her locket there, we did a u-turn, drove an hour back and the new person behind the desk was understanding and accommodating, took our information, let us go searching. It was a downside for sure, we never found it, but everyone there was so helpful that they deserve a recommendation
It was pleasant when I was stuck in parking lot there helped me get out. And had hot coffee.

Very clean and friendly alot of construction on hey but we had no problem suggest it 100%.
My five stars are for the way we were treated here. The place is outdated and many of the things advertised don't seem to be available but for 50 whatever it costed to get indoors for the night, the rooms were clean enough, the showers hot and no bugs. But when we were there we were broke and dealing with a broken down vehicle and we were shown a ton of patience and understanding and even after we cleared out of the room and and to be in the parking lot finishing the repairs we were told we were most welcome to do so as long as I cleaned up. Entire staff was very kind and hospitable. Appreciate everything, guys! I was told that much needed updates are on the way but as for right now you can expect an affordable place to rest on your way to wherever if you're real picky about every little detail being flawless you're probably looking in the wrong price bracket. Elk City Super 8,you rock! We'll stop again for sure.
I'm staying here right now my room is very clean everything is working like it should it's a safe area from what I can tell so far very nice place well priced booked on line for like $42 no complaints here I'd stay again
Rooms were very clean. Staff here was very polite and respectful especially Katrina. She went out of her way to make this stay comfortable and pleasant. We have been on the road for a week and a half. Needed to get out of the truck for a night. Katrina was so helpful to make this happen. Working on the road is hard to find descent places to stay with a tractor-trailer.
Expected it to be awful due to rating and low cost, but was happily surprised with wonderful clerk, great TV, coffee pot...only issue...no shampoo and stone like soap
